Need help with SpellBank? Email accounts@sitesparkignite.com and tell us your device (iPhone or Android), the language you were playing and what happened. We usually reply within two business days.
How to play
Tap any tile to start a word. The tiles around it change into the letters most likely to come next in that language. Keep tapping neighbouring tiles to grow the word, then tap Bank when it's a real word to score it. If no word can be made from what you've built, it's a bust. Longer and rarer words score more. Settings › Rules in the app explains every mode.
Common questions
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings › Purchase and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. On iPhone, everyone in your Family Sharing group gets the unlock too.
I can't find my friend's game
- Both phones need to be on the same Wi-Fi network (not a guest network that keeps devices apart).
- iPhone: allow Local Network for SpellBank in Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network.
- Android: allow Nearby devices for SpellBank in Settings › Apps › SpellBank › Permissions.
- iPhones and Android phones play together over Wi-Fi. Nearby (no Wi-Fi needed) works iPhone to iPhone, or Android to Android.
- Keep SpellBank open on screen while joining.
Someone dropped out mid-game
The game pauses and the dropped phone reconnects by itself if it's back on the same network within 30 seconds. Keep SpellBank open on that phone while it rejoins.
A word is missing, or shouldn't be there
Email us the word and the language. The word lists come from open dictionaries and are updated with the app.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or your Google Play order history for Android.
