Terms of use
Effective October 21, 2026
These terms cover your use of Secret Family Recipes, made by Comparative Imaging, Inc. On iPhone and iPad, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. On Android, Google Play's terms apply.
Your recipes
The recipes, photos and notes you add are yours. You're responsible for having the right to add and share them. When a recipe comes from a cookbook, website or other source, the app keeps its credit with it. Please keep that credit when you share.
Purchases
- Free to try: you can keep up to 10 recipes for free.
- Unlock: a one-time purchase removes the limit on that store account. It can be restored with Restore purchases in Settings.
- Claude reads are used one at a time, and only when a recipe is found. They don't expire and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought from.
AI features
Recipes read from scans, imported from websites or rewritten by an AI can contain mistakes. Always check ingredients, amounts, cooking temperatures and allergens yourself. Nutrition figures are estimates and aren't medical or dietary advice.
Availability
We work to keep the app and the Claude-reads service running but can't promise they'll always be available or error-free. The app is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
